On July 1 around 11:00 a.m. Swift Current, Morse and Outlook RCMP officers responded to a complaint of a person overboard a boat on Lake Diefenbaker near the Palliser Regional Park shoreline.

The Mendham Cemetery is now home to a newly built replica of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, thanks to the carpentry skills of Mendham resident, Larry Bischoff.

Eatonia’s Canada Day celebrations kicked off with a bike parade, in which many local kids showcased their decorated bikes. A barbecue followed for anyone who was wanting a bite to eat.

The Leader community celebrated Canada Day in grand style! The day kicked off with a parade of floats, decorated scooters and vehicles and a few classic cars and trucks. The kids were busy scooping up candy that had been tossed onto the street.

The 2021 graduating class of Kindersley Composite School were out in full force on Saturday, June 26th, at their grad parade, which started on Main Street at 4:00 p.m.

A local gal is about to open up a new business in Kindersley. Nicole Dufault is stepping out on July 7th and opening the doors to her new business, Nic’s Barbershop, located at 117 Main Street.

The band program at Kindersley Composite School has had a lot of support throughout its existence. Colleen Swan said she stepped into the band program thirty-two years ago and inherited a strong program built by Gene Aulinger and Steve Mealey.
