1928 Bumper Crop!

94-year-old Alan Johnson, who subscribes to our paper, stopped by our office last week with this wonderful photo of his Dad’s farming outfit. Grant Johnson farmed at the Cuthbert District south of Alsask. His outfit included a Case 36” low bagger threshing machine and a 3-60 HP Hart Parr kerosene burner tractor. Looking closely, you can see Alan’s Dad, Grant and his partner by the Model T on the left-hand side. This photo was taken two years before Alan was born. Thanks for the submission, Alan!
