Emergency services resume in Leader

Emergency services were reinstated at the Leader and District Integrated Health Facility on July 1 at 8:00 am. The temporary disruption of services had been extended effective June 16 for an undetermined period while recruitment continued for the Combined Lab X-ray Technicians required to support emergency and acute services.

An earlier media release issued on June 15, stated that recruitment for diagnostic staff needed to support the emergency and acute services was ongoing, but at present, the positions remained unfilled.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is appreciative of the community’s cooperation and support during this temporary disruption of emergency services.
