Funnel Cloud spotted southwest of Foam Lake

On June 29 at approximately 4:50 p.m., Wadena/Foam Lake RCMP officers spotted a funnel cloud southwest of Foam Lake. An Environment Canada tornado warning was issued shortly after; Environment Canada has now confirmed a tornado touched down in the area. See attached photo. Officers checked on residences in the affected area after the storm and ensured no one was missing or injured.
