Kindersley RCMP asks residents to not drive as roads are dangerous and impracticable

Kindersley RCMP asks residents to not drive due to extremely dangerous road conditions.

Two to three feet of snow have accumulated on the roads of Kindersley, SK, and its surrounding areas. Under the snow, the roads are covered in ice, making the roads extremely slippery. Furthermore, blizzard conditions have reduce visibility to zero. The roads have become impracticable.

Kindersley RCMP advises no one should be on the road, except for emergency vehicles.

These dangerous conditions are being reported as affecting the entire town of Kindersley and its surrounding areas. The situation is not expected to change soon as plowing services were asked to not be on the roads at this time.

Dangerous road conditions could delay police response and emergency services.
