Kindersley Stallions advance to NSRBL finals

The Kindersley Stallions punched their ticket to the North Saskatchewan River Baseball League final with a 9-1 thumping of the Wilkie Brewers at Berard Field Thursday evening.

Kyle Donaldson went the distance on the mound for the Stallions, pitching a gem, highlighted by striking out the side on 9 pitches in the sixth inning.

Dylan Flasch smacked a 2 run home run. Tylin Hilbig chipped in with a standup triple.

Defensive highlight was a diving catch in right field by Dylan Francis.

Great pitching. Timely hits. Great defence. That's going to win you a lot of ball games.

The Stallions will now face the Lloydminster Twins or the Standard Hill Lakers in the NSRBL Finals.
