Laporte Community Hall is a Municipal Heritage Property built during 1928-1929, shortly after the hamlet's founding.

The site of the original Mantario School, built in 1924. It served the surrounding area until 1956. A new school was erected and served until 1966. Both schools were moved to Marengo.

The site of the original Mantario School. A lonely sidewalk leads to a playground in the tiny hamlet. Mantario's population had dropped to 5 in 2011. It held village status prior to June 30, 2007.
