Over 150,000 in funding allocated by Field of Opportunities initiative

The Field of Opportunities (FOO) initiative is designed to help improve quality of life in the rural and urban community of Kindersley and region by raising capital to be used for community projects centering on arts, culture and recreation.
The project began in 2015 with partners Pat & Deb Holland, Robertson Implements/RME, Millsap Fuel Distributors, Insight Sign & Decal and G3 Prairie West. The funds are disbursed to organizations with a mandate of supporting Sports, Culture and Recreation. Projects with a youth focus have been a priority. Proceeds are to be asset/infrastructure related. Over $150,000.00 in funding has been allocated to entities in Kindersley as well as the surrounding communities of Dodsland, Plenty and Herschel and area. The 2022 growing season was the last year of this successful initiative and the funds will be allocated in 2023.

Guidelines and Application forms are available via the Town of Kindersley website or by contacting Brenda Burton brenda_burton@g3.ca or jesse.graham@robertsonimplents.com.

The deadline for applications is December 31, 2022 with adjudication prior to the end of February 2023.
