Promoting mental health awareness and suicide prevention through heART
If you were in the Town of Kindersley on Saturday, you may have seen “Bushman Art” who is hiking across Canada to promote mental health awareness and suicidal prevention. Kids were invited to sign his heART cART. Bushman was there all afternoon and sold out of his paintings. Fun Fact: He lived in Kindersley for about a year when he was 17 and worked in the oilfield. 60% of the money that he raises from the selling of his paintings will go towards the purchase of art supplies (heART supplies) for psychiatric wards across Canada. We wish much success on your cross Canada journey, Bushman!
