Sask RCMP’s Major Crime Unit investigating suspicious death in Cumberland House

On May 29, 2022 at approximately 11:55 p.m., Cumberland House RCMP received a report of an injured individual.

Investigation has determined there was an altercation at a residence in the community. The victim, a 24-year-old female from Cumberland House, was injured and transported to the local clinic in a private vehicle. She was pronounced deceased by EMS. Her family has been notified. We will not be releasing her name at this time.
