Sweet Sales Pitch
Over 25 vendors filled the Eatonia Community Hall on Saturday, April 1st. A wide variety of products were available; there was something for everyone. One of the youngest entrepreneurs present was Ryder Bredy selling Bredy’s Lavish Fractal Designs. Each piece of his fractal wood burning took approximately two hours to complete.
He asked his customers, “Did you know 33 people a year die from fractal burning?” He was referring to his technique, where a figure is burnt into wood using high-voltage electricity. And if that didn’t get their attention, he sweetened the deal by giving away a cookie with each purchase. A silver collection was collected at the door and a menu was available for food orders.
