Synergy Credit Union named one of Saskatchewan’s Top Employers for sixth consecutive year

Synergy Credit Union has announced for the 6th year in a row, they were named a top employer in Saskatchewan by Mediacorp Canada Inc., organizers of the annual Canada’s Top 100 Employers project. Synergy is continuously striving to create a great place to work, and this recognition confirms their ongoing commitment to their people, culture, and their communities.

Synergy achieved this by recognizing the importance of, and opportunity for, individual work-life blend, and robust learning to build diverse careers. Synergy is diligent in offering competitive financial rewards, supporting physical and mental well-being, encouraging a sense of purpose, and engaging as a co-operative. Synergy Credit Union provides exceptional support for ongoing employee development through in-house and online training programs, as well as tuition reimbursement.

In 2022, Synergy staff members contributed up more than 7,500 volunteer hours and each year, up to 5% of Synergy’s pre-tax profit is set aside to fund projects in our communities.

“This award is evidence of our unrelenting commitment towards a work environment and work culture that puts our employees first”, said Synergy CEO Glenn Stang. “Synergy will always prioritize the well-being of our staff.”

“We continually monitor our financial rewards, programs, and workplace experience to ensure we are offering employees exceptional employment”, said Synergy’s Manager of Human Resources, Erin Close. “This also includes a focus on creating safe, healthy, diverse and inclusive workplaces for our employees.”

Employers throughout Saskatchewan were evaluated by the editors at Canada’s Top 100 Employers using the same criteria as the national competition, including physical workspace, training and skills development, community involvement and more.

Synergy is proud to offer a great place to work, learn, and grow a career and promises to work diligently to maintain this winning streak.
