Letter to the Editor: Thanks for supporting our seniors!
It is said “It takes a village to raise a child”. Our family has realized that “it takes a town and the surrounding community to support and love a senior”!
Our Mom, Joy Johnson, celebrated her 100th birthday on June 30th, 2021. It was heartwarming and amazing to witness the many forms of caring, concern, love, and attention that the people of Kindersley and surrounding district extended to Mom on her special day. We also quickly realized that that same level of care and concern happens everyday - not just in her birthday.
Thank you to everyone who enjoyed celebrating Mom’s birthday with her. It made her day very special.
We would like to extend our appreciation to the people of Kindersley and community for your ongoing support and concern for our favorite “centenarian”.
