Father’s Day Car Show
About 24 vehicles showed up for the Father’s Day Car Show on Saturday, June 19 at the Kindersley Mall. Everyone enjoyed looking at the cars throughout the day and more importantly visiting among friends.

TORNADO TOUCHDOWN
At around 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday, June 15, Environment Canada issued a tornado warning for much of the west-central part of the province, including Kindersley, Flaxcombe and Brock.
After the storm …
These aren’t as spectacular as some of the tornado photos that were taken on Tuesday, June 15, but the sky offered a pretty special palette of colours around 9:30 p.m. that same evening at Kindersley.

Exhibition Baseball
The Kindersley Stallions and the Kindersley Midget Royals squared off in an exhibition contest on June 3rd. It was a battle of two lefties with Chad Westman on the mound for the Stallions and Tylin Hilbig pitching for the Royals.

The Kindersley Spray Park was certainly the place to be last week with the scorching hot temperatures! Environment Canada issued a heat warning for much of the west central and southwest region.

The Kindersley Minor Ball U-16 girls were practicing last Thursday evening. There are still no games or tournaments allowed at this point and won’t be until announced by the Government of Saskatchewan.
Kerrobert Wheatland Regional Library awarded Facility of the Year
The staff and board of the Kerrobert Wheatland Regional Library has been chosen a 2021 Award Recipient from the RiversWest District for Facility of the Year.
Dairy Queen drive thru construction
During the past couple of weeks there has been work going on around the perimeter of the Dairy Queen building in Kindersley. Dairy Queen staff said the construction is underway in order to facilitate the installation of a drive thru service for the public.
