Eston Composite School’s grade one class took to the kitchens on May 26th, preparing for their special Muffin Morning. Students worked together to make muffins and juice.

The evening’s performances were dedicated to Mr. Steve Mealey, who had such a lasting impact at Eaton School and throughout the community.

The Town of Eston’s perennial beds are all cleaned up. The Communities in Bloom committee have been busy prepping the planters and barrels and filling the water reservoirs.

Grade 3/4s planting sprouted bean seeds for experiments and Gr 5/6s at work seeding vegetables in the Spartan Outdoor Space (S.O.S.) outdoor classroom last week!

A cool evening on Tuesday, May 17 didn’t stop players or spectators from enjoying themselves at a couple of ball games held in Dodsland and Plenty.

My travels last week took me through the tiny hamlet of Richlea, which is located approximately 3 miles north of the #44 Hwy between Eston and Plato.

These Elizabeth Middle School students created their own Times magazine where they nominated their moms for Mom of the Year.

The ladies at Caleb Village were honoured at a special Mother’s Day tea on Thursday afternoon, May 5th. The residents also invited guests to the tea, and everyone enjoyed a time of visiting, as well as birthday cake.
