Rage take leave of absence from the Prairie Junior Hockey League
The Prairie Junior Hockey League will operate with 11 teams in the 2021-22 season after the Kerrobert-based West Central Rage were granted a one-year leave of absence by Saskatchewan’s Junior B loop.

Umpire Mentoring Program is up and running
Thanks to a lot of hard work, Kindersley Minor Ball has its umpire mentoring program up and running. Chad Miller, president of Kindersley Minor Ball, played a big part in getting the program off the ground after at least five years of concentrated effort.
Exhibition Baseball
The Kindersley Stallions and the Kindersley Midget Royals squared off in an exhibition contest on June 3rd. It was a battle of two lefties with Chad Westman on the mound for the Stallions and Tylin Hilbig pitching for the Royals.

The online Facebook auction hosted by the Leader Lions Club has had excellent results. Lions member Dustin Heatcoat reported on the fundraiser’s outcome. “We’re right around $67,000, but there are still people donating, which is fantastic!”
