Kerrobert hosts succesful Fall Market

By Kate Winquist

Kerrobert held another flourishing Fall Market on Saturday, September 25, at the Prairieland Community Centre.

The event ran from 10 am to 3 pm and featured many craft tables, baking, jewelry, beauty goods, home decor items, and much more. A food booth for dine-in and take-out was available, including taco and a bag, Indian tacos, and homemade chips and dip.

Admission was by donation, with $700 donated to Brave Little Canadians Foundation. Brave Little Canadians is dedicated to supporting and empowering children facing medical battles. Through programs like their Cape and Badge program, they help children feel brave and courageous while helping to honour their medical journey.

Organizer Staci Hall was very grateful for all the vendors and people who made the day possible.

"Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. So many wonderful people gave up their time yesterday and today to help me set up and keep things running smoothly. I could not do it without any of you," Hall wrote on the Market's Facebook page.

The winner of the door prize was Robert Duhaime.

Kerrobert's Winter Market is scheduled for November 27.
