Kindersley RCMP request help in locating a stolen truck

In the early morning hours of February 6th two unknown males broke into a R.M. of Prairiedale storage shed. Once inside they stole a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab with RM of Prairiedale decals on the back passenger windows bearing Saskatchewan licence plate 975JPP. Kindersley RCMP are also looking for information on the pictured vehicle that was travelling in tandem with the stolen truck. Along with this break and enter the pictured truck is believed to be related to two thefts at oilfield sites in the area. If either vehicle is spotted Kindersley RCMP are requesting the public contact them immediately.

In addition, Kindersley RCMP were doing proactive patrols in the area of Kerrobert and detected a suspicious vehicle in the area. A subsequent traffic stop was conducted and the driver was arrested. Charged was the following:

Deanna O’Brien of Kerrobert was charged with two counts of Pos-

session of Drugs for the Purpose of Trafficking under section 5(2) of the ControlledDrugsandSubstancesAct, and two counts of Failing to Comply with Conditions of a Release Order under section 145(5)(A) of the Criminal Code.

O’Brien has been remanded for court in Saskatoon. ‘This is a great example of our members conducting rural patrols and engaging with suspicious behaviour’ stated Staff Sergeant Kevin Peterson of the Kindersley RCMP. ‘We always encourage the public to call us if they see suspicious people or vehicles in their communities.’ Peterson went on to say.
