The Garden Bug: Planning your garden size

By Brenda Weaver

Estimate your growing space and access to sunlight, and your time, energy and resources. If you have little time to spare and little space to garden, try one large pot set beside a sunny window as a container garden for plants. If you have outdoor space but don’t want a large garden, choose a sunny area with enough space for one or more raised garden beds of plants. A large in-ground garden of plants can work if you have the space, the resources to prepare and maintain it and sunlight several hours a day.
