Making plans now to reduce water usage in your garden can save money and increase sustainability. Will you use soaker hoses instead of sprinklers, or set up a rain barrel to collect rain water? How about using a rain gauge? Do you need to reposition sprinklerheads so that the water avoids paved areas? Are your outdoor faucets dripping? Can you choose plantings that naturally use less water than others?
