Upon arrival, officers were joined by local fire services and emergency medical personnel to assess the situation. Preliminary investigations revealed that a southbound SUV collided with a northbound car. Tragically, the collision resulted in the deaths of three individuals in the car: a 41-year-old female driver and her two passengers, a 14-year-old female and a 13-year-old female.

The driver of the SUV, a male, was the sole occupant in the vehicle and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. He was promptly transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The Swift Current Rural RCMP has engaged the services of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist to assist with the ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

As a result of the collision, Highway #4 was closed for a period, but has since been reopened to traffic.

In response to this tragic event, a GoFundMe page has been established to support the victims' families. The funds raised will assist with funeral expenses for the three deceased family members and contribute to a trust fund for the surviving daughter. Community support is vital during this heart-wrenching time, as those affected begin to navigate the aftermath of this devastating loss.
