Cram the Cruiser a Christmas tradition

By Joan Janzen

The annual ‘Cram the Cruiser’ event has become a favoured Christmas tradition in Kindersley. Once again, the Kindersley RCMP get together with the staff of the Kindersley Co-op in a joint effort to supply much needed donations to the Kindersley Food Bank.

Beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 12th, customers headed into the Co-op Food Store where they could buy bags which literally “Cram the Cruiser”. The community was very generous as the  Kindersley RCMP were on hand to accept the donations which “crammed the cruiser” full of paper bags four times throughout the afternoon.

Tuesday was also the day customers were able to pick up their equity cheques and enjoy a donut and coffee, compliments of the Co-op.
